Experienced Foster Needed

The pets lists would benefit from being in a home with an experienced foster, and you can read their notes to learn more about the specific behaviors exhibited in the shelter. You don't need to have fostered for HSH before, but you should have extensive dog handling and behavior experience.

Some of these dogs will be EU Risk because their behaviors limit their opportunities for positive outcomes. Our team works to identify these at-risk pets as early as possible to provide every support and intervention possible to help them find an adopter, foster, or rescue.

We will continue to provide transparency and inform fosters of pets that are at risk of euthanasia. Each card will provide a reason for the designation and if they have a set day/time that has been established that they need to be out of the shelter.
